Petronas to expand its refueling network in Southeast Asia
Malaysia's leading oil and gas company Petronas has announced plans to expand its refueling network by increasing the number of gas stations in Southeast Asia. The move is part of Petronas' efforts to strengthen its foothold in the region and meet growing demand for fuel services in major countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines.
According to a PETRONAS spokesperson, the company plans to open about 100 new retail gas stations in these countries over the next few years, with a special focus on premium products such as PETRONAS Primax fuel, designed to improve engine performance and fuel efficiency.
In addition to expanding its refueling network, Petronas is also investing in advanced technologies to enhance customer experience at its gas stations. The company plans to launch a cashless payment system and digital screens to showcase the latest promotions and services to customers.
Petronas intends to leverage its expertise in the oil and gas industry to offer additional services through its gas stations, such as lubricant and fluid management as well as car washes and maintenance services. By providing such services, Petronas aims to become a one-stop solution provider for motorists in the region.
The expansion plan comes at a time when the automotive industry in the Southeast Asian market is growing rapidly, with the number of vehicles on the road increasing year by year. Petronas' move to expand its refueling network is expected to create more jobs and boost economic growth in the region.
Overall, Petronas' expansion plans demonstrate the company's commitment to growing its business in Southeast Asia. By providing premium fueling services and additional vehicle-related services, the company aims to provide an excellent customer experience and contribute to the economic development of the region.
